This Gilson Liquid Handler Enclosure provides odor abatement and personnel protection during applications using the Gilson GX-281 Liquid Handler. This enclosure offers proper protection against liquid materials when all sliding and hinged doors are closed.
The outside frame is a durable polypropylene with clear acrylic viewing panels and a black lab-grade phenolic base, dished to contain spills. Alumnimun extrusions add structural support. Ten iris ports allow the wires and lines (needed to operate the Gilson GX-281 Liquid Handler) to enter the enclosure without breaking containment. A face velocity alarm is included in this system to alert when the air velocity drops below a safe operating level. This enclosure connects straight to the building exhaust removing the need for filters or BIBO housings.
Additional features include two hinged doors (one on each side), 10x iris ports, a custom table, a slideout keyboard tray, swiveling monitor mount, a phenolic resin storage shelf, a 6-plug power strip, and an FS1650 face velocity alarm.
