Millipore Labscale TFF Enclosure designed to provide personnel protection down to a respiratory exposure concentration within the range of 100-1000 ug/m3 (micrograms per cubic meter) during Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) operations involving the Millipore Sigma TFF System; [L x W] dimensions 7.4” x 1.2” [18.8 cm x 3 cm]. The enclosure features a polypropylene superstructure, acrylic viewing panels, and base coated in black phenolic resin (dished to contain spills). Also features 18×36 Top – Mount fan / filter housing with Single – HEPA filtration with 99.997% efficiency down to a particle diameter of 0.3 microns (um).

(2x) sliding doors on front of enclosure allows the user access to enclosure interior before, during, and after each run of the process*. Sliding doors feature slots and deflector to properly direct inflowing air. (4x) 3” diameter rubber membrane iris ports on lower – left and lower – right sides facilitate ingress/egress of equipment cables and cords; total of (8x).

*Containment is offered with a maximum of one sliding door open.

Additional features include:

  • Minihelic gauge displays real-time measurement of pressure differential between the outlet side of the HEPA filter and the surrounding environment
  • Airflow velocity alarm which alerts the user when the face velocity measurement is below the setpoint calibrated by the certifier
