The Stainless Steel Mettler Balance Enclosure was designed to provide personnel protection during the weighing of Highly Potent Pharmaceutical Ingredient (HPAPI) powder. The superstructure and base of the enclosure is constructed of 316 stainless steel.
On the right side, the enclosure features an DTPE Alpha- Rapid Transfer Port (RTP) for clean material removal into a DTPE Beta connection. The workspace was designed to accommodate space for a Mettler-ToledoTM XS304 analytical weighing balance with dimensions 19”(D) x 13”(W) x 13” (H) and a Mettler-ToledoTM XS6002S toploading analytical weighing balance with dimensions 16”(D) x 4”(W) x 8” (H).
Additional features include a control box with FS1650 integrated alarm, 6” exhaust port for connection to house exhaust, (2x) 3/8” NPT ball-valve and turret with 90 degree ½” barb for connection to gas sources, (2x) 3” diameter iris ports for electrical connections on the right-side, and (2x; total of 4) IP55-rated weatherproof duplex electrical receptacles on right and left side. Laminated safety glass viewing panels and LED lighting provide optimal field of vision and illumination across the workspace.
