XP Mettler Balance Enclosure designed to provide personnel protection from respiratory exposure to powdered substances when performing analytical weighing operations
using a Mettler Toledo Analytical Balance. Accommodates sufficient space for the user to pour powder from one 5-gallon container into another 5 – gallon container
placed on the analytical balance. Drop sink (metallic recess) on left side lowers top of 5 – gallon container by 10” [254mm] for ergonomic access during pouring.
Enclosure conforms to most policies and regulations which stipulate Explosion Proof (XP) specifications. 8” House exhaust cap facilitates connection between
top-mounted Single-HEPA fan / filter housing and 8” diameter 304 stainless steel ducting. Stainless steel ducting features sliding gate,
which isolates the enclosure from the house exhaust system when necessary. Static-dissipative acrylic viewing panels installed onto enclosure
or prevention of exposure to flame and explosion hazards.
Includes an XP compliant fan which is designed to connect at the intersection between stainless steel ducting
and vent kit adapted connection to house exhaust system. Vaneometer also included for XP – compliant face velocity measurements.
