Low Humidity & Oxygen Glovebox with
PLC Controlled Interior Environment

The Drysolator™ series provides isolation and protection against highly potent compounds. The glove box interior operates under negative pressure offering additional personnel protection in the event of a glove breach. The PLC-controlled interior reduces oxygen and humidity levels for the safe handling of reactive substances. PLC controls offer the ability to lock settings with admin-required passcodes to help avoid breaking SOPs. Third-party surrogate powder testing has proven exposure levels below 1 μg/m3, based on process and quantity*.

Process

The glovebox side can contain ISO 5 processes, while the VBE section allows a secondary cleaning station before removing equipment or material containers.

Containment

Third-party surrogate powder test shows exposure levels below 10ng/m3, even with large spills, dependent on quantity/potency*.

Design

The glovebox provides proper containment for most lab equipment, including balances, ovens, and sieves.

HEPA Filtration & ISO 5

Features a 4” inlet HEPA filter for incoming lab air. Dual-HEPA filtration ensures pure interior air. Meets or surpasses ISO 5 standards in various conditions.

Structural Materials

The standard polypropylene structure is customizable and available in a stainless steel option. The phenolic base resists chemicals. Viewing panels come standard in acrylic with glass options available.

PLC-Controlled

The Drysolator monitors with automated programs. Door interlocks enhance containment safety. Passwords can restrict operator-specific actions.

Sanitary Fittings

Equipped with sanitary fittings for coupling. Enables integration of various powder transfer systems. Perfect for RTPs, continuous liners, and more.

Standard Sizes

The Drysolator™ comes in 5′, 6′, and 7′ widths. Units have a 30” depth and 25” interior height. Custom dimensions are available based on need.

Safety

The DrysolatorTM series provides containment and protection of highly potent compounds in a glovebox workstation under negative pressure to ambient. Controlled interior environment allows low oxygen and/or humidity levels for product protection. Negative pressure design protects personnel in event of glove breach. The unit provides the operator and the application the highest level of safety available.

ISO 5 INTERIOR CLEANLINESS

The side mounted HEPA filter inlet creates a clean interior working environment that meets or exceeds ISO 5 for clean processing work while in ambient or low RH/O2 environments.

HEPA FILTRATION

The DrysolatorTM contains a 4” HEPA filter inlet that allows the introduction of clean air into the glovebox. Primary and secondary 4” HEPA outlet filters then clean and exhaust the air to the house exhaust system or recirculated into the lab.

FRONT LIFT DOOR

The pneumatic-assisted hinged door opens creating a large face opening in the glovebox to facilitate equipment loading and decontamination.

STRUCTURAL MATERIALS

The standard polypropylene superstructure is customizable and available in a stainless steel option. The chemically resistant phenolic base offers a dished edge to maintain spills and protects the work surface from harmful chemicals. The viewing panels are available in glass or acrylic options.

Sizing & Options

The DrysolatorTM is available in 5’, 6’ and 7’ standard width options. All units are 30” deep with a 25” internal height. Our custom engineering and design process offers customization of size, materials of construction, and more.
